The Finance Transformation Team
Our Finance Transformation practice works with the CFOs and senior leadership of leading financial institutions on strategy and the delivery of complex transformation programmes. These include operating model design, systems selection and implementation, post-merger integration and the digitalisation of the finance function to help build future facing businesses.
We have a fantastic opportunity with our Finance Transformation practice and are looking to hire exceptional people to be part of our exciting journey and bring excellence to our clients. You will ideally have experience working as a Business Analyst, Project Manager or Consultant with a leading financial institution or a Consultancy Firm or Solutions Vendor to the Finance Sector.
Responsibilities
• Produce key Project documents such as business requirements documents, Use Cases, Project Charters and process flows
• Work with our clients to understand their business challenges and problems - undertaking requirements gathering, client interviewing, documentation of processes and process assessment, and effectively communicating these to various audiences
• Design and propose potential solutions identifying various pros, cons and risks
• Build and execute project plans co-ordinate status, issues, risks and provide clarity to everyone involved of their responsibilities to effectively deliver successful business outcomes under an Agile framework
• Construct and define test scenarios and test data to ensure requirements are completely and accurately implemented
• Implementation and post-go live support to ensure success of the developed solutions
• Contribute to our internally built offerings as we build a collection of best-in-class solutions
• Work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution
• Actively get involved in the new consulting community
Candidate Profile
• 4-12 years’ experience; Ideally combining a number of years working as a Business Analyst and/or Project Manager within Financial Services and Consultancy
• Finance or accounting background of particular interest
• Experience working with industry recognised finance systems and CRM platforms, ideally with full life-cycle exposure to selection and implementation initiatives
• Proficient in Data Management
• Experience of FP&A, Financial Controlling, Product Controlling or equivalent
• Preferably an accounting certification including ACA, ICAEW, CIMA or equivalent
• Ability to deliver projects using Agile delivery method
• Ability to work effectively and dynamically on multiple projects
• Strong technology, analytical and communication skills and the ability to work with people at all levels of an organisation
• Excellent Stakeholder management
• Degree level qualification
• Excellent problem-solving skills and evidenced ability to break problems down into logical steps
• Organised and evidenced ability to co-ordinate and deliver complex outcomes.
• Exemplary communication skills, both written and oral, to clearly communicate status, problems and requirements.

Location:
You will be based in the NextWave London office; 100 Bishopsgate, however travel may be required for client-based projects and some projects will be located fully at client office locations - usually in the City of London or Canary Wharf.
